Pumpkin pie and writing like a maniac

Hello lovelies!

It’s been unseasonably warm in November, and I’m all for it because as someone once said, ‘winter is coming’. It’s very odd in the UK because after Halloween, without Thanksgiving, there’s a big gap until Christmas, which means all the Xmas ads are already out. Thanksgiving (aka Christmas without the hassle and presents), was always my favorite American holiday. I’ll definitely be making some pumpkin pie, and breaking out the cranberry sauce, and possibly inviting any stray Americans into our home to celebrate.

I hope you’ve all enjoyed Only Rakes Need Apply. I noticed it was in Kindle Unlimited and there’s a special deal on it detailed below. I know I haven’t published a lot this year but my traditional contracts all had to be extended after my mum died and everything is now due at once so I’m writing like a maniac. There might be a Kate Pearce vintage book out soon, but I’ll warn you that it’s definitely not Christmassy. :)

Next year I’ll be at a couple of events: one in London in September and one in Berlin in May. I’ll share more details as soon as I have them.

Happy reading!

Kate

A sexy new series begins as three daring Regency ladies each seek lovers with no strings attached . . . and find even the most unfettered hearts can get tangled up in passion.

What’s a woman to do when her husband has departed but her . . . desires . . . very much remain? The only thing Lady Carenza Smythe-Harding misses about her late spouse, a notorious gambler and adulterer, is his expertise between the sheets. After two years donning mourning dresses, it’s her turn for some frisky fun. But with no intention of remarrying, how can she find the right devil-may-care rogue for the job?

Titled lady seeks experienced, unmarried rake for afternoon dalliance . . .

The anonymous newspaper advertisement leaves little to the imagination, and has the gentlemen of the ton wagering who is the temptress taking applications–and measurements!–to fill a most enticing position.

Thanks to an unexpected inheritance, confirmed bachelor Julian Laurent is free to indulge his passions–including the occasional seduction of married ladies. Still, he is appalled to discover his longtime friend, Carenza, is behind the public proposition. Surely Julian can prevent a damning scandal by pleasuring the lady to her heart’s content. After all, it’s the gentlemanly thing to do. . . . But as their sensual escapades tumble into a dangerously addictive game, might their friends-with-benefits arrangement take them from bedding to wedding?

November's freebie: The Sassy Submissive, by Golden Angel

A Dom with trust issues and a submissive pretending to be something she's not... what could possibly go wrong?

"If you've ever wanted to be part of an intimate real world BDSM circle, but leaving the house isn't your jam... the Stronghold series is the perfect fictional home away from home." - Loki Renard, USA Today Bestselling Author

After years of reading but never doing, Angel is finally ready to explore her fantasies in real life. The only problem? She'll have to learn the ropes all alone. Adopting a false Mistress persona for one club to explore the lifestyle, she's not expecting to be irresistibly attracted to one of men she meets, but she persists in pretending to be something she's not.

Master Adam is looking for a relationship, and not with a Mistress, but he can't get "Mistress Angela's" face out of his head. His past has taught him to hate deception and liars, so when he meets Angel again as the submissive she really is, he has an important choice to make: turn and walk away or teach the impertinent subbie a lesson about misrepresenting herself.

Happy new year my lovelies! We had the tiniest sprinkling of snow this morning, but the sky is still blue, and the sun is shining, so I don’t mind the cold. We had a lovely Christmas with our kids, heard Christmas carols sung by the world famous Wells Cathedral choir, walked the Christmas light trail at Stourhead, (a National Trust stately home), and watched all our favourite movies. I hope you all had an excellent holiday season, too! I finished up two projects over the holidays: How To Ruin...

Kate Pearce Books

Hello lovelies! Happy Christmas, and Happy Holidays to everyone who celebrates. This year has gone by way too quickly. I feel like I spent most of it with my head down writing books that won’t be coming out until later in 2026. Such is the joy of traditional publishing. I’ve written book 2 of the Rakes of London series, How To Ruin A Rake, which was great fun and involves Allegra, the exceedingly uptight sister of Carenza and, (obviously) a Rake who ends up being completely undermined by her....
