Hello lovelies! It’s been unseasonably warm in November, and I’m all for it because as someone once said, ‘winter is coming’. It’s very odd in the UK because after Halloween, without Thanksgiving, there’s a big gap until Christmas, which means all the Xmas ads are already out. Thanksgiving (aka Christmas without the hassle and presents), was always my favorite American holiday. I’ll definitely be making some pumpkin pie, and breaking out the cranberry sauce, and possibly inviting any stray Americans into our home to celebrate. I hope you’ve all enjoyed Only Rakes Need Apply. I noticed it was in Kindle Unlimited and there’s a special deal on it detailed below. I know I haven’t published a lot this year but my traditional contracts all had to be extended after my mum died and everything is now due at once so I’m writing like a maniac. There might be a Kate Pearce vintage book out soon, but I’ll warn you that it’s definitely not Christmassy. :) Next year I’ll be at a couple of events: one in London in September and one in Berlin in May. I’ll share more details as soon as I have them. Happy reading! Kate Only Rakes Need Apply - on sale!My publishers have put Only Rakes Need Apply on sale at $5.99, and it's also in KU. Please check because not all retailers in all locations might have it on sale, so apologies in advance if you can't get it at this reduced price. Hello lovelies! Lots going on this month! Only Rakes Need Apply comes out and it’s a special one for me. When I started writing I wanted to get a steamy historical romance published and that never happened. I had erotic historical romances, cowboys, urban fantasy, erotica, etc., but I ended up self-publishing my steamy historicals. So, getting this trilogy published with Kensington kind of completes that writerly circle and I had such a blast writing them. I’m currently writing book 2 of this...
Hello lovelies! It’s September already, which means this year has flown past and its almost the Holidays again! This year I will remember to order cans of pumpkin online because they don’t have ready made pumpkin pies in the shops here! I prefer to make my own, anyway, because I can make the spices how I like them. My daughter’s off to university this month so I think there might be a few tears. (Definitely mine) I went up to Stranraer two weeks ago for a book event. It was a beautiful place...
