Happy new year my lovelies! We had the tiniest sprinkling of snow this morning, but the sky is still blue, and the sun is shining, so I don’t mind the cold. We had a lovely Christmas with our kids, heard Christmas carols sung by the world famous Wells Cathedral choir, walked the Christmas light trail at Stourhead, (a National Trust stately home), and watched all our favourite movies. I hope you all had an excellent holiday season, too! I finished up two projects over the holidays: How To Ruin A Rake, book 2 in my Rakes of London series, where the very uptight Lady Allegra Musgrove meets an infamous rake who can’t resist making her life extremely complicated during the road trip from hell. I also completed my contemporary fall novella, Loving The Hometown Hero, for the Diana Palmer anthology Hometown Fall, featuring Daisy and Dane, next door neighbors, in a second chance love affair, who have to work together to discover who’s stalking Daisy. Now I have to start writing new stuff and my brain isn’t so keen! I’m sure I’ll get around to it soon. :) Kate Tribute is on sale! From January 10th - 17th, Tribute is on sale on Amazon.Tribute is a set of three novellas: Sacrifice, Retribution and Triumph. Hello lovelies! I have to say that April in the UK is a constant guessing game about which coat to wear, whether it’s going to rain in five minutes, or if you need to put sunscreen on, sometimes all in one day! I do love seeing the blossom and the emerging flowers though, it always makes me feel hopeful even in challenging times. I’m still writing away at all kinds of things but the next book actually coming out will be my historical fiction Chelsea Girls under Catherine Lloyd in June. It’s...
Hello lovely readers, I would like to say that Spring has sprung here but it wouldn’t be true. We’re in what I refer to as ‘false spring’ and ‘I don’t know which coat to wear when I go out’ weather. The daffodils are providing an optimistic brightness and it’s no longer dark in the morning so I’ll take it and hope for more. I did visit Hay On Wye last week, which is known as ‘Book Town’ because there are more second hand bookstores there than anywhere else in the country—40+ I believe in a...
Hello lovelies, and are we all pleased that January is finally over? My birthday’s in January so I always enjoy that, but not much else. We didn’t have any snow just lots of rain. I did get to visit Jane Austen’s House in Chawton, which was inspiring, and my husband took me out for lunch at a lovely restaurant called The Pig, so I had a wonderful day! Book wise it’s time to think about what I’m writing this year. You’ll be getting book 2 in the Regency historical romance series, How To Ruin A...
