Happy new year my lovelies! We had the tiniest sprinkling of snow this morning, but the sky is still blue, and the sun is shining, so I don’t mind the cold. We had a lovely Christmas with our kids, heard Christmas carols sung by the world famous Wells Cathedral choir, walked the Christmas light trail at Stourhead, (a National Trust stately home), and watched all our favourite movies. Hello lovelies! Happy Christmas, and Happy Holidays to everyone who celebrates. This year has gone by way too quickly. I feel like I spent most of it with my head down writing books that won’t be coming out until later in 2026. Such is the joy of traditional publishing. I’ve written book 2 of the Rakes of London series, How To Ruin A Rake, which was great fun and involves Allegra, the exceedingly uptight sister of Carenza and, (obviously) a Rake who ends up being completely undermined by her....
Hello lovelies! It’s been unseasonably warm in November, and I’m all for it because as someone once said, ‘winter is coming’. It’s very odd in the UK because after Halloween, without Thanksgiving, there’s a big gap until Christmas, which means all the Xmas ads are already out. Thanksgiving (aka Christmas without the hassle and presents), was always my favorite American holiday. I’ll definitely be making some pumpkin pie, and breaking out the cranberry sauce, and possibly inviting any stray...
